SHORT STORY SAMPLERS

Prices starting at $50 for a custom 4x4 framed Sampler.

A touching tribute.

These sweet cross-stitched mini-samplers are touching tributes to VIPs - people or pets - or a way for you to tell the world "This Is Me!"

We'll stitch together a portrait depicting up to three characters, people or animals, to represent what you'd like the sampler to convey. Choose one of our suggested sayings or a maximum of three of your own words or a name to be included on your sampler.

As a gift - or for yourself.

Given as a gift, a Short Story Sampler can be a way of saying, "I love who you are," or "I get you," and is a thoughtful gesture, sure to bring continued joy to anyone receiving it.

For yourself, a Short Story Sampler can be a unique way of conveying your own personal statement or tribute, alongside a depiction of your favorite companions or things that bring exceptional happiness to your life.

Turn a Short Story Sampler into a gift within a gift with a custom Wish Pillow or Wish Pocket. We'll add a special section on the reverse side of the stitched sampler for a note, wish, prayer, money or anything else you'd like to tuck inside as an added surprise. Hanging Ornament, Framed Sampler or Petite Pillow

- Ornament Samplers: Approx. 3x5, 4x4, 4x6 inches.

Ornaments have a string so they can be hung - from a door handle or hook - and are stuffed with polyester fill.

- Framed Samplers: 4x4, 4x6 & 5x7 inches.

Framed samplers can be displayed on a tabletop or hung.

Some samplers with embellishments can not be framed under glass.

- Petite Pillow: A Short Story Sampler ranging in size from 4x6, 5x7 and larger. Backing is quality fabric to create a small stuffed pillow. Size & price vary based on the details of the story and the fabrics used.

- Wish Pillows & Pockets: sizes vary based on name & details.

A Sampler stitched together with an area for a small envelope or paper message. The Wish Pocket is lined with an opening at the back. A stuffed insert can be custom ordered. The Wish Pillow is stuffed with no opening.

Filling used in Ornament Samplers and Pillows is 100% flame retardant polyester.

About our custom

CINNAMON ORNAMENTS

Long lasting, old-fashion charm.

Our cinnamon ornaments are inspired by a gift received 30 years ago, tucked safely away, wrapped in tissue and stored in a tin box. The original three cat ornaments were made using a vintage cookie cutter, edible gingerbread and royal icing.

Three decades later, these cherished little icons, dedications to a trio of much-beloved felines, prove to be very fragile and must be handled with extreme care.

In an attempt to recreate a more resilient decoration as a keepsake, we improvise using the old tried and true cinnamon recipe specifically for non-edible ornaments and then add a protective coating. While they still need to be treated with a wee bit of care, these little treasures are made to last so they can be displayed and enjoyed for many years to come and will continue to maintain a tinge of cinnamon scent.

Keep out of reach of young children and animals.

"Tikki" was created by Auntie Angela V. over 30 years ago and is one of the original three, "Tikki," "Tom," and "George" - fragile little treasures.

The number of letters that can be inscribed is limited to the size and shape of the ornament chosen. For best results, a maximum of 5 letters is suggested for a "sitting" cat or dog ornament. Initials are recommended for most ornaments.
